Bill Taylor and the Appalachian Heatherns are a group of professional musicians that spread from all over Appalachia. From the Crater City of Middlesboro, KY to North Central Kentucky, to East Tennessee, the rich heritage of each member can be heard in every single note that is brought out in their work. The Band was formed in 2021 in Middlesboro, Kentucky, starting with 3 members. As time progressed, the band’s front man, Mr. Taylor expanded his vision of what the band would look and sound like. They are now made up of 6 members; Bill Taylor (Vocals, Rhythm Guitar), Billy Taylor (Vocals, Rhythm/Lead Guitar), Joe Cox (Vocals, Drums, Cajon), Sara Bond (Vocals, Fiddle) Charlie Blanton (Upright Bass/Cello), Chad Light (Steel Guitar, Lead Guitar, Banjo). Each member brings something unique to the group and along with Bills extraordinary vocals, it is the reason they have a jaw dropping effect on every person that attends their show and why they leave the crowds desiring more. If you are lucky to catch one of their shows, you will instantly know what we mean when the first note drops upon your listening ear.
